This episode we are joined by Texas native Robbie Wilson who has studied the culinary craft under some of the biggest names in the business including Tom Colicchio, Thomas Keller and Nobu Matsuhisa (Mah Two He Sah). After stints in Nashville & Santa Barbara, Robbie and his wife Emily moved to Palo Alto in 2015 to open BIRD DOG, which has garnered international recognition including the 5 0Best Discovery List, while Robbie was named one of the “10 SuperHeroes of the S.F./Bay Area Dining Scene” by Zagat. This summer, Robbie and Emily opened Le Fantastique in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley, where he celebrates his love of raw fish, French wine, warm bread and vinyl records.
