Erik Bruner-Yang

This episode, we are joined by Erik Bruner-Yang, who is a professed agent of innovation, well known for the spaces he creates. Through his D.C.- based concept-development company, Foreign National, he offers an alternative: food and space as creative commons. His restaurants are instinctual; contemporary yet habitual. Bruner-Yang is a James Beard Award finalist and was named StarChefs’ D.C.-Chesapeake Rising Star 2018 Restaurateur. In a previous life, he was a full time musician. And it should also be known that Erik and I share a deep unconditional love for the Canadian band Stars.
